Good Shepherd Pediatric Therapy Services provides a variety of therapies for children from birth to age 18. With Good Shepherd therapist, your child's therapy treatments are individually planned, based on your child's strengths and limitations. All of our therapists work together to define an overall plan for each child that is individually guided, and are also happy to work as a team with any other health professionals providing care to your child.

How Good Shepherd "Partners with Parents"

Our therapies involve hand-on observation and training for parents and siblings. In fact, families play an essential role in Good Shepherd's therapy services. Through our "partners with Parents" program, our therapists educate, support and demonstrate ways for families to enhance their child's development.

Parents learn how to carry over therapists' goals, so their child can be successful in all settings. In addition, parents receive copies of all reports, therapy notes and goals. At Good Shepherd, our goal has always been to promote open communication between parents, therapists and other professionals so their child reaches his or her full potential.

A full range of therapy services in a wide variety of settings.

Not only are sessions with Good Shepherd therapists provided on an individual basis, they're provided in a range of convenient settings: at your home, on an outpatient basis at Good Shepherd School, or on a daily basis as a Good Shepherd School student (serving children with and without special needs, age six weeks to six years).

Good Shepherd School is located on a beautiful, two-acre campus, and provides therapy in a setting which many children find more comfortable than a hospital-based therapy department. At Good Shepherd School, your child can receive individual attention and therapy in a classroom setting, in group settings, on our developmental playground, in our state-of-the-art therapy gym and speech therapy treatment area-all of which promote a therapeutic, relaxed, and fun learning environment.
