Our Therapy Team

Good Shepherd pediatric therapist are licensed or certified in physical, occupational, speech/language and developmental therapy, and have significant practical experience working with children under six years of age. What's more, our developmental therapists are certified special education teachers who facilitate the inclusion of children with special needs.

Our therapists also have extensive experience in serving children with the following diagnoses:

  • Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)

Developmental Therapy

Diane Marchiando

Diane Marchiando, M.Spec.Ed.
Diane has more than 19 years experience in special education. She holds a Masters and Bachelor's degree in Special Education and lifetime teaching certificates in the areas of behavior disorders, learning disabilities, orthopedic handicapped, and mental retardation. Diane has worked with children, infants up to age 18, from a wide variety of special needs backgrounds, including autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. Diane started working at Good Shepherd in 1996, initially as an early childhood classroom teacher. She began her career as a Developmental Therapist in 1997. As a Developmental Therapist, Diane provides classroom support and facilitates children's success with cognition, communication, socialization, and self-help skills. Diane has a strong background in behavioral management and has been a key team member in helping children with behavioral challenges succeed at home and in the classroom. Outside of Good Shepherd, Diane coaches and directs the Busy Bodies Gym program, a developmental locomotor program developed by an OT/PT team that uses sensorimotor integration techniques to address developmental delays in an inclusive, recreational gymnastics setting. She is also the head coach for the St. Louis Spirits Special Olympics gymnastic team. Diane feels each child is unique and should be afforded the opportunity to become a productive member of society.

Staci LanduytStaci Landuyt, DT-Staci is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies-Child Life Therapy. Staci has worked for several early intervention programs in both Illinois and Missouri doing home visits and promoting inclusion in community based programs. During her eleven years as a Developmental Therapist, Staci has worked with children with Down syndrome, autism, developmental delays, and others disabilities in homes, center based programs, and in the community.



Shannon Wrobleski Shannon Wrobleski, DT-Shannon has been a member of the Good Shepherd Pediatric Therapy team since August of 2006. She has also been a teacher at Good Shepherd School since 2003. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters degree in Special Education. She also holds teaching certificates in both Early Childhood and Special Education. Shannon has over ten years of experience working with children. As a teacher and a developmental therapist, Shannon has experience helping children with a variety of needs, including children with Autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. She provides support to parents in the areas of cognition, social skills and behavior, as well as other areas of development. Shannon believes that working closely with families is the key to provide children with supportive environments in which they can learn and grow.

Occupational Therapy

Tina PrestonTina Preston, OTR/L Tina is a registered occupational therapist and has been a practitioner in pediatrics since 1985. She holds a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University. Tina is has been a part of Good Shepherd's Pediatric Therapy team since 1996. She has focused her practice in the areas of premature infants, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, congenital anomalities, feeding/oral motor delays and other developmental and neurological impairments. Tina's therapeutic training includes feeding, sensorimotor development, self-help skills, visual, perceptual and fine motor development, handwriting, global developmental skills, splinting, Kinesio Taping, electrical stimulation, and assistive technology. She believes in the value of family, caregiver training and the implementation of therapeutic techniques in family routines. Tina also believes in the empowerment of family and care providers to be successful as advocates for the child and as the child develops, to enable the child to be his/her own advocate.

Jesse BehrendsJessica Behrends, MOT, OTR/L-Jessi has been a member of the Good Shepherd Pediatric Therapy Team since 2002. She holds a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, a Bachelors degree in Psychology and is a registered occupational therapist. Jessi's expertise is in autism and she also has significant experience working with children with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and a variety of other developmental delays. Her therapeutic interventions include expertise in behavior management, feeding, self-help, sensory integration and handwriting development. Jessi has been an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapist for early childhood and school-aged children with autism. Having a strong behavioral and sensory background has enabled Jessi to provide more effective treatment and learning for children of all ages and abilities. She is also certified in advanced Therapeutic Listening and Kinesio TapingŪ Jessi believes in the value of family and parental involvement to provide for optimal quality living and learning.

Jennifer BartholomewJennifer Battholomew, OTR/L-Jennifer is a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) who graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. Jennifer has worked in pediatrics since 1992. For the past 5 years, she worked exclusively in the treatment of 0-3 year olds through an early intervention program. Jennifer started with Good Shepherd in the spring of 2006. She has significant experience with premature infants, children with developmental delays, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorders, PDD, sensory intergration dysfuntcion, delays in feeding and oral motor skills, fine motor delays, sensory-motor difficulti8es, and hand splinting needs. She is trained and certified in the Therapeutic Listening Program. Jennifer fbieves in the individuality of each precious child and family. It is in the combining of professional skills with the family's expert knowledge and love of their child that the best therapeutic program is achieved.

Physical Therapy

Lorie Hagl 2005Lorie Hagl, PT
- Lorie has been with Good Shepherd's Pediatric Therapy team since 1995. She holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy and has over fourteen years of experience in pediatrics. Lorie works with children who have Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, torticollis, prematurity and other developmental and neuromuscular impairments. She has expertise in splinting and orthotics fabrication, gross motor development, positioning, balance strengthening, gait training, Kinesio Taping, NMES (neuromuscular electrical stimulation) and assistive technology. Additionally, Lorie has expertise in myofascial release and neuro-developmental treatment (NDT). She is a team player working to meet family's goals. Lorie understands the importance of making exercises a part of daily routines. She is a mother of three young children, one who has received special services, and is therefore very realistic in performance expectations of her clients.

Kelly WooldridgeKelly Wooldridge, MPT -Kelly joined the Good Shepherd Pediatric Therapy team in 2003. She holds a Masters degree in Physical Therapy, a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and she is a licensed physical therapist. Kelly has been providing pediatric therapy services since 1999 and has worked in the rehabilitation field since 1994. She has expertise in treating children with a wide variety of diagnoses including: developmental delay, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, torticollis, muscular dystrophies, spinal muscular atrophy, prematurity and other orthopedic, neurological and neuromuscular impairments. Kelly is a certified ThresholdES practitioner with advanced training. She also has expertise in Kinesio TapingŪ, splinting, orthotics, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, neuro-developmental treatment (NDT) and gait training. Kelly is the mother of three young children and is very in tune to the needs of families who have children with special needs.

Robin RitterRobyn Ritter, PT -Robyn graduated from Saint Louis University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. She joined Good Shepehrd's Pediatric Therapy Team in 2006. Robyn has expertise in treating children with a wide variety of diagnosses including: developmental delay, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, prematurity, chromosomal abnormalities, and other developmental and neurological disorders. Her therapeutic traing includes: pediatric neurodevlopmental treatment (NDT), proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), gait training, and sensory integration. She is the mother of three children, one of whom has special needs. She understands firsthand the importance of therapy working into the family's daily routine and activities.

Speech and Language Therapy

Claudia OrfClaudia Orf, M.A. - CCC/SLP - Claudia has been providing speech and language services at Good Shepherd's Pediatric Therapy Services since 1998. She holds a Masters degree in Communication Disorders and Speech and Language Pathology and is licensed in the State of Missouri. Claudia has over fifteen years experience working with young children on their speech, language, and communication development. Claudia has expertise with a variety of developmental delays, including Autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. She also has a strong background in behavior management. Claudia has a specialty trained therapy dog, Favor, who is at Good Shepherd School every day helping in pet-facilitated speech therapy. Favor was trained by Support Dogs, Inc. and is a unique asset of Good Shepherd's Pediatric speech therapy services. Claudia believes the family's role is critical to a child's success at school and home, therefore family training is high on her list of priorities.

Kathy LoweryKathy Lowrey, CCC/SLP- Kathy has over 13 years of experience with infants and youn children. Special areas of training include ABA and other behavioral methods for working with children with autism, feeding/breastfeeding, and apraxia. She has extensive experience working with children with Down syndrome, autism, articulation disorders/apraxia, language delays, homeschooled children, and multiple births. Kathy has experienced First Steps firsthand with her own child, so she is familiar with the challenges of having a child with special needs. She is also available nights and weekends for working parents.
