As a private, not-for-profit and non-sectarian organization, Good Shepherd's operations and growth plans are overseen by an active Board of Directors. Our board members are all volunteers and represent a wide spectrum of professionals in the community, current and former parents, and community volunteers. Some of the professions represented on the board include finance, marketing, insurance, law, accounting, engineering and development. Board meetings are held six times a year. The meetings are held in the early mornings at Good Shepherd and in general, the Board members meet for 1 1/2 hours. Board committees meet in the off months from the Board meetings. The Board Committees are Finance, Board Development, and Development/Marketing. Members of the Board of Directors hold a three-year term.
