Kindergarten Readiness: Helping Your Child Start Strong

Join us for a free parent workshop on Kindergarten Readiness featuring Sara Barnes, Assistant Principal at Miriam School and Learning Center.
Sara will share practical insights on:
- What kindergarten readiness really looks like
- Early signs of learning differences
- How parents can support confidence and learning at home
-When to seek extra support
With nearly 20 years at Miriam, Sara has helped countless families navigate early learning and build strong educational foundations.

GivingTuesday is Dec. 2, 2025, and is a global generosity movement created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate “radical generosity.”

 

Good Shepherd is proud to be one of the last remaining early childhood centers in the region dedicated to specialized, inclusive care. But like many nonprofits our costs have skyrocketed and we rely upon the generosity of people like you to fill these gaps and help us sustain our transformative mission. Days such as GivingTuesday are the perfect opportunity to make a gift.
